To celebrate a year where old favourites made a comeback and to usher in a new year of obstacle innovation we’re bringing back the big guns. A Mudder favourite that will bring a smile to some, but have most quaking in their Merrells.
Walk the Plank will return, for one event only at Tough Mudder London South 2018.
What is Walk the Plank?
If Walk the Plank is conjuring up images of disgraced pirates you’re on the right track. Participants will climb a 12 foot structure, creep to the edge of a platform and jump into the murky water below.
Sound simple? This obstacle isn’t about strength, speed or skill, it is a mental challenge of the highest order. It’s pushing you to step out into the unknown and overcome your innate fear of falling, only to conquer it and be faced with a pit of water.
How to Tackle Walk the Plank
If you’re looking for tactics there can only be one piece of advice, when the volunteer tells you to jump, you need to jump. Wait any longer, peek over the edge for just a few seconds more and you’re in psyching out territory.
Don’t want to miss out on the obstacle action? You can still book your place at Tough Mudder London South Weekend 2.
