Introducing Born Barikor, Official Tough Mudder UK Trainer

Since 2017 Born Barikor has been our go-to guy for all things training. He brought Mudder Nation weekly Workout Wednesday sessions for three years, has developed our training plans and provided countless obstacle-crushing tips along the way. Now, for the first time ever we’ve teamed up with Born to bring you official Tough Mudder training programmes, which in just 5 weeks will get you start-line ready.

Who is Born Barikor?

Born is best known as a fitness coach and the CEO of Our Parks, which brings free workouts to communities in their local parks. With over 200,000 members Born is committed to helping people get outside and get active. Even when Covid-19 struck, he simply moved Our Parks online. From HIIT to yoga and boxing, Our Parks offers a range of classes run by certified trainers. When it comes to getting fit at any level, Born knows what he’s talking about.

Born On Course

You only have to look at Born to know that he can walk the walk. Starting off in athletics as a kid, Born has gone on to run the London Marathon and of course, countless Tough Mudder events. Many Mudders will recognise Born from out on the course where he can often be found helping Mudders overcome obstacles. And before the start line Born has developed our training plans, filmed countless workout videos and even offered advice for keeping kids busy and active over lockdown alongside our friends at Lidl.

Official Tough Mudder Training Programmes

This year Born is taking training Mudders to the next level. He’s helped us to develop two five week training plans for Tough Mudder 5K and Tough Mudder Classic. Sign up to train with Born for your event and in the five weeks before your Tough Mudder you’ll receive a weekly email containing your workout plan. You’ll also have access to a private Facebook group where Born will be on-hand to offer guidance and advice on tackling your weekly workouts, as well as insider tips on tackling obstacles. 

If you don’t just want to do Tough Mudder, but you want to get across Funky Monkey, reach the top of Everest and crush every section of The Gauntlet then the Tough Mudder Training Programme is for you.
